Tons of explosions, guns, aliens silly one liners, wonderful humour and MANLINESS? Basically all what Duke is about?

I know this is just a trailer, but FUCK YES DO WANT.

Gotta love all the lampshade hanging on the game's notorious reputation.

"Duke, is the game any good?"
"After twelve fucking years, it better should be!"
YES.

Looks very generic. Think I'll be sticking with Bulletstorm.

That's the point, man. Duke Nukem is the gist of every shooter game ever made. Add the silly breaking of the fourth wall ever four seconds and you have Duke Nukem.

Except that in 1996 Duke Nukem 3D wasn't very generic, At the time of release it was sort of the last gasp of the 2.5D shooters, since Quake was released a couple months later. But it had a fair number of innovative things like a inventory for your power ups, including a freaking jetpack. You could squish enemies with your foot, You could have multi-story buildings and rooms that where *inside* each other. Plus there's the whole thing where Duke has a voice, as opposed to Doomguy and BJ Blazkowicz.

DN3D heavily influenced the development of shooters in the late 90s and early 00s, which is why it seems so generic. Whereas DNF just looks like any other shooter that's been made since 2006 or so.

Looking forward to the game. Not the gameplay specifically, but just the general overthetop fourthwallbreaking humour. Duke is the man.

ALL fps have now Some things shitting from CoD but if we exclude the energy bar and "limit " of weapons to 2, we have the true Duke, with all his machismo, the visceral hatred for the aliens, beautiful women, and especially the most ignorant of gameplay this year and perhaps last year (after some obvious games).
The problem is only one: it only came out later but, you know, better late than never.
(I played the demo)
