I've been wanting to get Lollipop Chainsaw for a while, though zombie things aren't generally my cup of tea; I'm more interested in it due to my being a huge fan of the No More Heroes games.
I'm waiting until it drops to ~$40 or less at the local Gamestop, though. As much as I loved NMH, I'd say it was worth exactly the twenty dollars I shelled on each, if not less. There's just not a whole lot of incentive to replay the games, and from what I've seen of LpC, they didn't exactly improve upon that. I'm avoiding watching playthroughs for the same reason.
That having been said, if the bosses are anything like the NHM bosses, I think I'd probably draw. I've only seen glimpses of their designs, and they look like they'd be fun to draw.

Yeah...I heard some bad things about Lollipop Chainsaw's game play, too. I don't know if it's that bad, but I kind of wanna wait until the price goes down, too. I still like the characters and the plot, though, and I wish there was more fanart of them...and not just of Juliet. I wanna see more good fanart of the Dark Purveyors, especially Zed and Mariska. They're my favorites.

Pre-owned copies of Lollipop Chainsaw now cost about $35 on Game Stop's website. The price is going down, and fast. I just might get it myself, soon.

Seems like the same problem with NMH. Great visual style, hilarious writing, awesome VA work, some interesting combat mechanics...and shitty level design. Get Suda51 to do the basic idea for the game, get someone else entirely to do the levels next time. Please? That being said, I did love the parts of NMH that were done well. (I love Travis. He has a badass jacket, he's voiced by The Goddamn Medic, and has a cat. End of story.)

Also I cannot take Tara Strong seriously as Juliet or Harley Quinn, because I cannot unthink her as Bubbles or Twilight Sparkle.
