But I'd say get rid of them all, people here don't like it. And sage-ing is basically leaving a message on a thread without bumping it to the first page. If you ever feel the need to comment on a story that hasn't been updated in a few months, a sage is used to make sure nobody sees the updated thread assuming that it is an update.
