Hi, new to the list/chan, and I kinda need some help writing a TF2 chan OC based on me. No, not a MarySue, but a strong female OC who ends up becoming the cook/laundress after being stranded in their world. I am looking for gritty and semi-realistic portrayals of the characters. I want to do it right without turning me in to a "speshul snowflake" character. So far, writing it has been kinda depressing. But I would like some help, please.
I highly recommend that you look at the workshop area (http://tf2chan.net/workshop/), where people hang and develop art, writing, and concepts. People there usually are willing to provide constructive criticism, and when you are dune and sure of your work, then it goes into the appropriate fanart or fanfic board.
