Motherly (FemSpy/FemPyro) (6)

1 .

Hello, long time lurker here; I did a class and you medic shower fic not too long ago and feeling more confident I decided to write something more. There will be gore and possibly smut in the future, also any critique and help is greatly appreciated. I think that is the only introduction I need, so without any further adieu, enjoy.

Motherly, PART 1

One two three four, over and over with the sound of stubby nails on wood her fingers drummed against the hard suitcase in her lap. She had been riding on the train out into the desert for a little over an hour now and the fact that she hadn’t been moving began to distress her.

‘No no no, not good’ She thought, her mind racing as fast as her drumming fingers were on the suitcase, which began to bounce more than it was before from the ride of the train. She couldn’t be this still for long, it would not be good, her mind would play games on her again, and if she began to see the pretty things again she might hurt someone.

Her food bounced on the sole where she sat on the faded brown cushion. The small cart connected to the train engine was the only one used to hold passengers on the supply train, the rest of the carts carried supplies that was to be delivered to a base out to the middle of nowhere, and she was on her way to fill in an empty position of Pyro for BLU.

‘Think of that, that’s it! That that that!’ She thought, sitting back in the booth like seat, the suit she wore squeaking against itself and her eyes twitched as they shifted from the desert land that rushed by to the empty bench across from her.

‘I Left the Happy Home and pillow room to work for BLU, to be a pyro. I am supposed to… to make the other team happy- NO no no, not happy. Don’t think of it like that…’ focusing on her thoughts as well as the constant twitching and shifting helped her, kept her mind in line, and she needed it.

The woman’s thoughts were disrupted as the door that led out back to the supply crates opened, and out stepped a man carrying a clipboard. He looked to be a short man- shorter than pyro herself, if only by a little. To go along with the denim overalls he wore, a yellow hard hat rested atop his head and black bulky goggles hung around his neck. Pyro watched as the man rubbed the back of his neck, mumbling something to himself as he looked at the clipboard. The pyro was only distracted for a moment by his presence before her twitching began again. She shifted in her seat, her suit squeaking again and causing the man to raise his head to meet her gaze.

The man hesitated where he stood as he took a good look over the pyro. In all honesty he didn’t know what to think, and he couldn’t even tell that she was a woman. The Pyro had short brown scruffy hair and eyes to match in color. She wore the BLU team pyro suit, gloves and mask resting beside her, suitcase bobbed in her lab from his bouncing foot.

Besides the odd twitch of the pyro’s eyes and fidgeting all together; only one abnormal thing really stuck out about her. Nasty red scars that covered her face and hands, The right side of the pyro’s head was completely missing hair as well as an ear, the scar covering most of her face besides the left eye and cheek.

“Howdy… s’pose yer the new pyro for the team am I right?” he asked, his voice holding an accent that sounded strange to her.
Pyro did not reply right away; this man was one of the only ones she had seen so close since leaving the Happy Home, so she stared at him for a moment before nodding; speaking wasn’t something she was very used to doing either.
The man smiled before coming to sit in the bench across from her and offered his hand.
“Well it’s a pleasure to meet ya fella, m’ the Engineer for the team.”

Pyro looked down at his hand, her own fidgeting with her suitcase strap as if he had just done something strange. The Engineer’s brows rose, an expression pyro did not recognize crossing over his face. For a brief moment however she saw pink bubbles pop up and disappear about the room, and the man called Engineer was a small child that looked much like a baby cupid. She simply stared at him now, all fidgeting and twitching ceasing for the moment as pyro was caught up in the illusion of her mind. The man retracted his hand, bringing it to rub the back of his neck again.

“Now, I know that some men ‘round here like to keep to themselves, or even are nervous bout their first day; but partner, a simple handshake and a greeting could do us both some good.” The engineer said, forcing out a smile to the stranger. This seemed to however bring pyro out of her little illusion, and instantly the bounce of her food and the twitch in her eye returned.

“Men?” She asked, licking her chapped lips. Engineer jumped slightly in his seat at the sound of pyro’s voice; high and feminine; his look of surprise made the pyro look at him as if he was the odd one. “I am not… uh, male? Yes yes not male.” She said, her words having a bounce to them and slightly ran together.

Engineer sighed and removed his helmet, rubbing his hand over his buzzed haircut. The Administrator hired another female? This was too much and just simply having one already threw the rest of the men at base slightly off; some more than others due to the fact that their first female mercenary was…well hostile. And now, they have another, one who you could not even tell was a woman due to her scarring, and perhaps if she was not wearing the suit. She was also off somewhat… the reason why Engineer didn’t know but the dangers of having a woman on base who might not be able to care for herself could arise multiple problems.
“’m sorry I did not realize yer a woman.” Engineer said before plopping his helmet back onto his head. “But that could work to yer advantage.”

Pyro blinked at the man, now feeling a bit confused. Engineer read her expression and hesitated before continuing.
“Listen Pyro, it might not be a whole good idea if th’ team knew you were a woman, ya might wanna just let people refer to ya as a man alright?” he asked. The pyro listened, hands moving to mess with the suitcase strap again before she nodded. She didn’t understand, but if that was what was better then she could do that.

Engineer smiled again at seeing her nod.

“Alright then, another thing- ya shouldn’t talk to others without yer mask on okay? Yer voice is a dead giveaway. Our last pyro could be understood with the mask on most of th’ time so you should be good. Is that alright?” Again pyro nodded, but her hands moved down beside her to where her mask and gloves were. She pulled the mast over her head and zipped the little bit of the suit up on her to hide the edges, and after slipping the gloves on she looked to Engineer.

“Mmh gud?” She asked, voice muffled behind the shield of rubber. Engineer gave her a quick thumbs up. “Yeah that’ll do it Smokey. Now listen, It’s my job to show ya yer weapons, sleepin quarters, and pretty much everythin else when we get to th’ base, so ya gotta stick with me alright?” He asked, looking down to his clipboard again quickly before setting it aside. “An listen, m’ a pretty open guy, if ya have any questions or anything at all, ya can always come to me.” Pyro nodded through her mask before her hands returned to fiddling with the straps of her suitcase.

PART 2

Spy lifted the cigarette to her lips, the red makeup on them staining the filter of the butt as she slowly dragged in the soothing smoke before sighing it out; it helped her in many ways and today, it curbed her frustrations and anger.

They had been on the longest ceasefire since spy first came to work for BLU, and she didn’t like it one bit. The daily drawn out battles at dustbowl just to simply capture points was all that she had to make her time pass by, and without the daily violent fights she was left rather bored; all because their old team pyro had to go and get himself killed.

That was fine by her, if team mates wanted to go looking for a fight after the respawn system shut off in the evenings it was none of her business, although now she wish she had done something to stop their old pyro from marching over to RED for whatever reason he did.

There was nothing she could do about it now, and thinking much more about the situation only frustrated her more. Perhaps a walk would do her good.

As spy left her own living quarters, the teams Heavy Weapons Specialist and Soldier walked past. Seeing this as a perfect opportunity to let her frustrations out spy followed.
Soldier grumbled, his head turning to look behind at the following spy as he and the large Russian exited the building. She had a very pleasing smile on her face, glasses hiding any other expressions she could possibly show from view.

“What do you want Frenchy?” he asked, facing front again as the Russian turned to look back at her; he obviously had not noticed Spy had tagged along.

The female agent took in a lazy drag from her cigarette before exhaling slowly again, her pleasant smile turning into a smirk.
“Why Soldier? Must I have an excuse to be around such friends?” She said, knowing that her tone would get on his nerves.

This was one of Spy’s favorite things to do to the men at Dustbowl, aggravate them to make herself feel better. She had been around each long enough to know what actions she displayed would make them feel on edge, and for Soldier, he despised it when she behaved nicely around him. The man was used to talking back, to yelling and other men shouting to the point where he will bark and threaten to put them through early morning training. It didn’t take long for spy to figure out that being polite around the man would leave him grumbling or silently walking away from her.

Even now the man didn’t respond; simply continuing to walk beside the Russian. Heavy had to be one of the men on the base she couldn’t take pleasure in aggravating. To her he appeared to be a large brute at first, stupid even. It wasn’t until she had gotten to talking to him she realized he wasn’t dumb at all, but very intelligent. He read books in multiple languages and knew a bit about medicine as well as machinery and weapons. Her words did not faze him because he knew the Spy was only doing so to make any frustrations she could be having out on others. So she tried to get on his nerves, trying many different things to put him off without being barbaric, and the man eventually had the gull to try and talk with her; believing that if she simply spoke about her aggravations she would feel better.
It didn’t work of course; the Russian had ended up with a knife in his back and when he respawned the Heavy made sure not to try to have a one on one with her again. Spy did not speak with him often now, but the woman had a bit of respect for a man who couldn’t be fazed and had an actual brain in his head.

“Leetle spy, you talk with nobody unless have ill reason to.” He said before facing forward again, and spy flicked the ash from her cigarette in annoyance. “Unless you are coming to help unload cargo from train, should not tag along.”

Spy pursed her lips but then smiled as she stopped then and leaned against the building they had been walking beside. “Ah very well, ‘ou men seem busy after all an I am sure I will only slow ‘ou down. ”

Heavy stopped, seeming a bit surprised that she had actually listened and Soldier turned to look at her. Spy only smiled wider, happy to see that she could still slightly be unpredictable to her team mates. The agent inhaled the last of her cigarette until it reached the butt before dropping it to the ground, heel grinding the fire out before reaching into her vest for another.

“Oh non do not mind me!” Spy made a shooing motion with both her hands now that she removed another cigarette and match. “Go get ‘our cargo! An soldier-” Spy continued, her smile turning smugger as she said sweetly. “’ave a nice day~”
The American went red in the face from anger, and his helmet could not hide his eyes from expressing it. He turned and stomped away; Heavy following close behind as spy laughed to herself. Yes Cigarettes and aggravating her team helped greatly to pass the time.
