I really liked this chapter :) One detail in particular that I loved was this one: "I can see dat," the Scout agreed. "Ain't leavin' without him, though. Call it team spirit, camaraderie, comradeship, brotherhood, extended/surrogate family, nakama... Call it whatever you want, the point is that I'm a total sucker for it. So many TF2 fanfiction focus on a single pairing or a single friendship, portraying the remaining characters as distant coworkers at best. It's a rare treat to find a fic that portrays all the mercenaries as a team, a group of people who may not particularly like each other but will still look after each other. Besides the interesting adventure and awesome imagery and naked wet Sniper, this is the thing I've been enjoying most of all in your fic: the guys are comfortable with each other, care for each other, don't hesitate to risk their lives to save each other. I love it!
