In fact, if you're publishing something--especially in a magazine--they often get a bit pissed off if you type out the number past that. And to imagine doing this into the hundreds! I mean, there's no stylistic rule keeping you from typing it out, but it looks far neater if you use Arabic numerals past "nine".
