Old dinosaur of a computer died finally. All data lost to eternity. Staring over from scratch with new computer which can support software made AFTER 1999, so send some steam invites my way (KGBigelow) if you feel like putting up with somebody who's never played anything since metal gear solid 3 on the playstation. In the meantime - picking up where I left off here, might take some time - but's gonna happen in one way or another, dammit.
