I actually have to agree with anon 3 in saying that the story is fine as is. For me, this is an issue of focus. After all, this is a story about the transformation of spy to tentaspy and how things revolve around that. It's not a story about how Spy and Sniper got together, rather how the relationship responds to it. Furthermore, i am interested in seeing how Sniper responds to his own team's medic experimenting on his lover and mutating him.
