People were discussing your fic in my fic thread so I ran right on over here; I didn't know this was a tentaspy-sciencey fic! (I'm not a fan of 'pure horror' so I was repelled to check it out initially because of the title) This is SO much fun (as much as it's NOT fun for your Spy, haha). It's good to have a fun fic once and a while, where respawn is as blasé` as taking a shower and Medics have spare animal parts lying around. Even with your Medic being eager and inquisitive, I was a little taken aback by you using ‘giggle’, I generally associate this with a feminine gesture and usually avoid using it when referring to men, usually you would use ‘laughed’ or ‘chuckled’. Just an opinion. I also can't believe how some people in the past had actually become angry at the idea of tentaspies having a beak? (I saw this mentioned by someone) There is no set 'tentaspy model' and it's great to see the different takes everyone gives them! Though on a biological standpoint I'm curious where does your Spy defecate from? As in octopuses they only eat through the beak, the end of the digestive trace goes out their siphon. I’m assuming your Spy doesn’t eat through HIS beak, though I was very tingly pleased at the description of him feeling it like his human lips were being pushes back when they were playing with those in his undercarriage, an interesting crossing of nerves! I'm eager to see what you do with Medic / Sniper continuing to investigate his chromatophores, hectocotylus, and beak. Also I see no mention further of gills or how he breathes underwater since the medic jokingly said it in passing, so I look forward to mention of this too!
