This is amazing. Perhaps the best piece of fanfiction I've read. It's a little rough in a few spots - nothing other people haven't touched on, really: but it by and far makes up for it with phenomenal characterization, elegant description, and an extremely well-set up, overarching plot. You have SUCH a good grasp of the characters. I love your portrayal of Pyro, too. It's all so... believable. My embarrassingly gushing praise aside, I did have a little criticism about how the passage of time is a little bit difficult to grasp here. It's not really clear the time between each mission, each chapter and event, and the transition between chapters 15 and 16 - the beginning of Sniper's French lessons to the casual mention that it was three years later - really blindsided me and left me wondering just how long a time period this has stretched over. I don't know if it's just me, though, because I have trouble keeping track of timelines and the distances between events, and I miss details at times in my eagerness to read. Have you written anything else in this fandom?
