I'm not usually one to pick over details, but this one was enough to trip me up during the reading, so I feel it prudent to mention. In the primary canon established by the TF2 comics, Dell Conagher is the BLU Engineer, not the RED one. While it could be argued that they are one and the same person regarding the in game models, it still stands to reason that the moment I read 'Dell', I'm immediately thinking of the BLU Engineer and I end up fumbling over why he's on RED before catching up. In your place, I'd either swap the teams entirely and turn the Soldier to Jane Doe rather than John so that names all match up, or think up a new name for your RED Engineer to prevent future mix ups.
