I can't seem to help squirming and making undignified noises at the tentacle babies. But enough about them. Let me tell you about how much I enjoy your Mama!Spy. He's complex and wonderfully in-character. He's also strangely heroic. Normally I care very little for spies, but here, with him, for the first time in a long time I've taken a strong interest in seeing a protagonist save the day. Perhaps because in this case "save the day" means "save the tentacle babies." In any case, I enjoy him quite a lot. And my offer of marriage still stands.
