After seeing the title "Mercy" of your previous fic in the comment section here I thought if it was good as this, I should give it a shot. Looked it up, found the fanart and thought it gave away the ending and spoiled everything. Then realized it was the Sniper/Spy fic I tried reading last week but stopped at the part in the bar in the beginning. At the time I thought, "Oh awesome, ANOTHER predicable generic Sniper/Spy porno. I can't even pretend to care." But since it was by you and I knew the "outcome" already, I thought I should at least read a bit more. I finished it in one sitting less than an hour ago. Listen, I have never said this to a fanfiction writer before, and fanfic has been my guilty pleasure since I was thirteen...but you have talent. REAL talent. I felt real emotion and knew where Sniper was coming from, I actually felt anxiousness, apprehension, longing, happiness-I actually gasped when the Sniper blocked the door from RED Spy and was genuinely worried about what was going to happen next. You took TF2 characters and instead of doing the standard "TEAMCOLOR/NAME 1 and TEAMCOLOR/NAME 2 fuck perfectly without any awkwardness and fall in love and everyone is totally cool with it even though it's the 60's."-you made them and their struggles /real/. They had thoughts and fears and needs and most importantly, they were /human/. I could gush on about your writing skills for hours, and it isn't entirely the fault of the adderall but a need to let you know you have something special and I hope you keep doing your original stuff and not to squander your talents here with us. I hope that when you do get published someday, and I think you will, you give us a little shoutout saying you wrote a little story online back in the day called "Mercy" involving two mercenaries, so we all know to buy your books and help get you on that bestseller list. You deserve it. <3
