I'm willing to suspend disbelief a bit as far as lube goes depending on the situation, but considering that they're at a hotel and had very clearly planned on having sex, and it seems implied that they'd planned on having anal, it seems strange that Spy wouldn't have planned ahead and brought some sort of lubrication.
