I love how much of the octopus anatomy you've included in this! I've made some notes for a Tentaspy fic I'd like to try writing at some point, and most of the notes are on octopus anatomy - if you're making an octopus hybrid anyway, it seems a waste of good Uncanny Valley not to include the beak, hectocotylus, and other inhuman features that'd squick the romantic interest (and the reader). I think Sniper is taking it really well, though - Spy seems to be freaking himself out more than anyone. I'm looking forward to the two of them getting a moment alone, though. It'll be quite interesting to see how that turns out!
