Don't mind me, just praying that this story'll have a happy ending... eventually. Looks like Scout and Engie are off to another rocky start. Kinda funny and a little happy that Scout's still hasn't lost his fire yet, that the Masked Psycho for all his efforts hasn't broken the kid down. (He's traumatized yes, but I like that Scout refused to roll over without a fight.) I can see that, despite all of Engie's goodwill and risking his neck, it'll take a lot for Scout to even remotely consider trusting him. I do hope though that things would be patched up between them but at least they've come to a somewhat understanding that Engie wasn't going to hurt him. Can't wait to see what happens next! This story's got me on the edge of my seat!
