I just felt the need--I usually do when I give criticism--to explain in a bit more detail why it's worth mentioning and why it can't just be handwaved away in a story, and I don't think, in this case, that it can be explained properly without getting quite gritty and emotional-sounding. After all, it's psychology that sets unlubricated buttsecks apart from all the hundreds of unrealistic and nonsensical things that a TF2 fan lovingly embraces. But in practise, it was, what, three sentences in the entire story? I made faces when I saw it, but then I moved on and enjoyed the rest of the story, and accepted that it was just a mistake. No big deal.
