Scout is likewise confused by the same feeling when the Spy takes off his mask, sometime when they're alone, but he thinks it's some kind of psychic super Spy trick. After a brief discussion with Medic (it's a documented attraction people have for close biological family that they never met or saw extremely infrequently), Scout realizes Spy has to be his missing father. They manage to meet alone during cease fire, during which possibly bitter but completely consensual sex happens.
