I love their portraits, too. Spy as a monster is somethin' we often see inside the fandom. But not Sniper. Depends on the 'fic, I guess. I've read plenty of stories where Sniper's a loner who hates people, a perverted voyeur, or an outright rapist (and that's not even getting to the whole "Christian Brutal Sniper" thing).
